Tired of the same old sandwiches? Try pita folds with a beefy guacamole filling and the works.
Updated September 9, 2008

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Old El Paso™ Thick 'n Chunky salsa
  • 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 4 pita fold breads (6 inches in diameter)
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped (3/4 cup)
  • 6 ounces thinly sliced cooked roast beef
  • 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (3 ounces)

Steps

  • 1
In small bowl, mix sour cream and salsa.
  • 2
Spread guacamole over pita fold breads. Top with lettuce, tomato and beef. Sprinkle with cheese. Top with salsa mixture.

  • For all of you turkey lovers, try deli sliced turkey instead of the roast beef. You also can use Monterey Jack cheese instead of the Cheddar.
  • For 12 grams of fat and 330 calories per serving, use reduced-fat Cheddar cheese and fat-free sour cream.
  • Soften pita fold breads in the microwave for about 10 seconds to make it easier to fold them.
