Prep Instructions

PANCAKE preparation
MAKES 12-14 (4-INCH) PANCAKES
You will need:
2 Cups Buttermilk Pancake Mix
1 1/3 Cups Milk or Water
1. Heat skillet or griddle over medium-high heat or to 375°F.
2. Stir Pancake Mix and milk or water with fork or whisk until smooth (batter will be thin). Pour by slightly less than 1/4 cupfuls on hot greased skillet or griddle.
3. Cook until edges just begin to dry, about 1 minute 30 seconds. Turn; cook until golden brown, about 1 minute 30 seconds.
TO MAKE | MIX | Milk or Water
6 or 7 pancakes | 1 cup | 2/3 cup
20 to 22 pancakes | 3 cups| 2 cups
Betty’s Tip: For thicker pancakes, stir in additional mix.

WAFFLE preparation
MAKES 4 (4-INCH) WAFFLES
You will need:
1 1/4 Cups Buttermilk Pancake Mix
2/3 Cup Milk or Water
1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
1. Heat waffle maker.
2. Stir Pancake Mix, milk or water and oil with fork or whisk until smooth. Pour on center of greased waffle maker.
3. Bake about 4 to 5 minutes or until steaming stops. Remove carefully.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change.
