Prep Instructions

Wash hands before making Brownie Brittle.  

You will need:
1 Stick (1/2 Cup) Butter, Softened* (Not Melted)
*To soften butter, let stand at room temperature for 45-60 minutes, or microwave for 10-15 seconds until softened.
1. Heat oven to 375°F or 350°F for nonstick pan.
2. Stir Brownie Brittle Mix and butter until dough forms. (Dough may be stiff and need to be blended with hands.) Press brownie brittle dough into 11x12-inch rectangle (about 1/8-inch thick) on ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until edges are firm. Cool completely on pan (about 30 minutes). Remove brittle from pan; break into pieces. Store in an air tight container.
