Pirate Cake

Yo, ho, ho and a pirate eye patch! This striped cake is really fun to make and made easy with help from Betty Crocker cake mix, ready-made frosting and Fruit by the Foot. Our how-to video takes you through each step while our cake template shows you exactly where to cut.

Treasure Map Pizza

X marks the spot on our simple but delicious pizza made with Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust, store-bought pizza sauce (we love Muir Glen Organic’s version) and a bag of shredded mozzarella cheese. To decorate, add a trail of sliced black olives, make trees with green peppers and pretzel sticks, and finish with a tiny red pepper pirate ship.

Watermelon Pirate Ship

Transform an ordinary watermelon into an extraordinary (and edible!) pirate ship with careful carving and a set of DIY paper sails. Once carved, we added balls of honeydew, watermelon, cantaloupe and blackberries.

Jolly Roger Root Beer

Store-bought bottles of root beer quickly turn into a pirate’s drink of choice by adding a festive sticker to the front and colorful straws.

Riches and Gold Snacks

With a little bit of imagination, pretzel sticks become peg legs, Gushers turn into mermaid bait and malted milk balls double as cannon balls. Add to the mix cheddar fish crackers, gold chocolate coins and caramel corn and you’ve got the perfect array of pirate snacks.
