Slow-Cooker Pumpkin Harvest Chex Mix

By Corey Valley
Enjoy all the flavors of fall, wrapped up in one crunchy, slow-cooker treat!

If I'm honest, I'd have to pick fall as my favorite season of the year. It brings colorful trees, hayrides, pumpkin patches and my favorite, delicious fall treats. There is no better way to celebrate this cozy season than to make a big batch of this Pumpkin Harvest Chex Mix. Perfectly suited for any fall occasion, from parties to a quiet family night in, this tasty snack requires just a few simple ingredients and of course, your trusty slow cooker. Here’s how to make it!

In an oval 5- to 6-quart slow cooker, stir together the three cereals, graham crackers, craisins, pumpkin seeds and pecans.

In small bowl, mix together melted butter, vanilla and pumpkin pie seasoning. Stir until well combined. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.

Cook uncovered on high heat setting two hours, stirring every 15 to 20 minutes.

Spread cereal mixture on ungreased cookie sheet or sheet of waxed paper. Cool three to five minutes before digging in.
