Buffalo Chicken Beer Cheese Dip

Football season is upon us and that means that it’s time to start upping our game in the dip department. I’m always trying something new and cheesy for the hungry fans watching the game at my house. A classic favorite is buffalo chicken dip, but this recipe has a secret ingredient that gives it extra flavor: beer!

Adding beer to buffalo chicken dip is definitely my new favorite way to enjoy the Sunday game! I think you’re going to love this simple recipe.

To start, you’ll need shredded chicken, Cheddar and mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, Buffalo sauce, a bit of sour cream, ranch seasoning, panko bread crumbs, and of course, beer. (We recommend using an IPA for a more noticeable flavor.)

Add the cream cheese, sour cream, Buffalo sauce, beer, and ranch seasoning to a bowl and pop it in the microwave for about a minute. Once it’s soft, give it a good stir.

Mix in your chicken and cheese until well combined.

Spread that mix into an 8x8 baking dish and top with the panko. This will give the dip a crispy, crunchy coating on top.

Pop it all in the oven for about 20 minutes and what comes out will be a creamy, cheesy, spicy concoction that you just won’t be able to get enough of.
