I need to make smaller loaves of bread.....can I cut 4 cup flour bread machine recipes in half to make smaller loaf of bread?

How nice of you to make homemade bread for others! I'm hesitant to mess with bread machine recipes as they are temperamental. One pound loaf recipes are as small as I would try in a bread machine. However, you could make bread dough in your bread machine and then bake in small loaves that could be perfect. I have used the Bread Machine Dinner Roll recipe often. I think it would work really well and you could bake several loaves at one time. Your kitchen is going to smell wonderful!
