That is a great question.  Here is our traditional Wacky Cake recipe.  Happy baking!

Wacky Cake

Gold Medal® flour

1 1/2 cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour (regular or Wondra®)

1 cup sugar

3 tablespoons cocoa

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1 tablespoon vinegar

1 tablespoon vanilla

1 cup water

Heat oven to 350°.  Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt in ungreased square pan, 8x8x2 or 9x9x2 inches, with fork.  Stir in remaining ingredients, scraping corners frequently, about 2 minutes.  Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes; cool.  If desired, separate sections of 2 bars (1.35 ounces each) milk chocolate candy; arrange evenly on hot cake.  Cover pan with cookie sheet until chocolate is melted; spread over cake.
