Annalise accidentally stumbled upon her passion for baking many years ago when food blogs first emerged on the Internet. She collected recipes and cookbooks, and soon started a blog of her own. Aside from a brief stint in culinary school, she is almost completely self-taught, learning through trial and error. She hopes to inspire bakers of all levels to try new things and follow her baking motto: Life is just better with sugar and butter. She calls Utah home, where she lives her husband, two sons, and dog Pi.
