Dulce de Leche Pecan Mocha Dessert

Ericka Sanchez’s love of mocha (and, of course, dulce de leche) inspired her caffeinated version of Betty’s Caramel Pecan Chocolate Dessert. Put a little extra pep in your step—and your holiday plans—with her Dulce de Leche Pecan Mocha Dessert! 

Erika’s recipe is a coffee lover’s dream. She simply replaces the water in Betty’s Caramel Pecan Chocolate Dessert recipe with dissolved coffee granules in hot water (espresso would also work). This caffeinated twist turns regular brownies into a mocha brownies. Yum! And if you love saving time, this recipe is also for you! By replacing the caramel topping in the original recipe with store-bought dulce de leche, Erika cuts out a few steps, all while creating a delectable flavor combo.

The crunchy pecan bits and sweet dollops of homemade whipped cream add the final festive touches to Erika’s signature dessert, making it nothing short of amazing.
