It's a wonderful recipe. The aroma filled my house and out to my neighbors. I did have to cook it a little longer, 45 minutes. My Apple Crisp turned out great. I can't wait to make it again. So easy to make.

I made this last night for dessert and it was good. I would recommand that if your not a nutmeg person that you use less and also add some sugar to make it a little sweeter. You may also want to add a little less flour to it. I also added some vanilla to it after tasting it from the oven. This also created for it to produce some sauce on the bottom and it was delicious. I did have to bake it for 50 mins. I will be making this again this weekend with the revised version. Still was great. Love this dish.

This recipe was great, I served it as dessert when I had my in-laws over for dinner, really impressed them :) I used half granny smith and half honey crisp apples. I coated the apple slices with a little bit of yellow cake mix and cinnamon sugar before placing them in the pan. I used a 13x9 inch pan - I doubled the amount of apples that the recipe called for, and tripled the amount of topping that it called for. I omitted the nutmeg. I baked for exactly 30 min and served warm with homemade vanilla ice cream (I didn't make the ice cream, that was just the flavor :) ) and some caramel syrup. Amazing!

Good basic recipe. I added brown sugar, butter and a little bit of lemon juice and cream to the apples to create a sauce for the apples. Very good topping.

Have made several times using canned No Sugar Added Apple pie filling. This really satisfies my diabetic husbands sweet tooth. So easy.

A favorite at the monthly faculty potluck! I add the cinnamon and sugar suggested by others, a little flour, and some vanilla. I double the recipe and never have to worry about what to do with leftovers, because there aren't any!

I love this recipe, especially the topping. I actually double the topping recipe so there is more crunchy stuff on top. Also, for a little sweeter Apple Crisp, sprinkle some extra sugar and cinnamon on the apples before you put the topping on.
