Scary-Easy Pizza Dinners

Created January 10, 2017
Two brilliant (and festive!) ideas for getting your family fed and out the door with plenty of time to trick and treat.

When it comes to dinner on Halloween, we’re all about fast and easy (and if it’s festive, all the better). Enter Totino’s Pizza Rolls and Party Pizza. We used them to create a Jack-O'-Lantern Pizza Roll Casserole and Spider Web Taco Party Pizza in a matter of minutes.

For the Jack-O’-Lantern Pizza Roll Casserole, here’s what you’ll need:

  • 120-count bag Pizza Rolls
  • 25.5 oz jar Muir Glen pasta sauce
  • 2 slices mozzarella cheese
  • Pizza toppings (pepperoni, onion, peppers, etc.)
Begin by baking the pizza rolls according to the package directions but remove from oven after half of the called for baking time. Next, create a layer of pizza rolls on the bottom of a casserole dish. On top of that, spoon on a third of the pizza sauce and sprinkle with your favorite pizza toppings. Repeat the layer process twice more, ending with a layer of pizza sauce on the top. Finally, cut jack-o'-lantern shapes to create the face, place on top and bake until the pizza sauce is hot and the pizza rolls are cooked through—about 5 to 10 minutes.

For the Spider Web Party Pizza, here’s what you’ll need:

  • Totino’s Party Pizza
  • Ranch dressing
  • Fine-tip plastic squeeze bottle
  • 2 black olives
  • Pizza toppings (tomatoes, lettuce, nacho cheese chips, ground beef)
Make the pizza according to package directions. While the pizza is in the oven, prepare the ground beef (if using as a topping). Once pizza is done, add the rest of the toppings, saving the lettuce for last. To create the spider, cut one olive in half lengthways, then divide each half into three. Next, fill a fine-tip squeeze bottle with ranch dressing. With a steady hand, create the spider web design. Lastly, add the spider and dig in!
