If there’s one thing I’ve learned about potlucks, it’s that whoever brings the buffalo chicken dip always come out a winner. People can’t get enough of the creamy, tangy, spicy and cheesy sauce – yours truly included. This slow-cooker version is serious deliciousness that’s also seriously easy to put together.

To make it, all you need is a slow cooker, some cream cheese, hot sauce, either blue cheese or ranch dressing, shredded chicken and, for good measure, more cheese. (You can find the entire ingredient list in the recipe below!)

Layer the ingredients in the slow cooker, starting with the cream cheese. Top it off with shredded mozzarella cheese and blue cheese crumbles.

Cover and cook on low for about 2 hours, until the cheese is melted and the dip ingredients are fully incorporated.

Serve with whatever yummy dippers sound good to you! Anything from bread toasts to crackers to celery or bell pepper sticks works well, as does spooning it straight to your mouth. This dip is that tastes delicious both warm or at room temperature, so you can serve it directly from the slow cooker for a party at home or spoon it into a serving bowl for a potluck. It’s perfect for any occasion from holiday gatherings, casual parties to game day. One taste and your guests will want the recipe, I guarantee!
