Adam and I count down the days until our favorite coffeehouses begin serving fall drinks. Adam loves anything gingerbread, but I might be one of the biggest fans of pumpkin spice drinks. Slightly sweet and topped with rich whipped cream, they remind me of colorful fall leaves and cooler weather. We came up with a way to make a Pumpkin Spice Latte at home so we can enjoy it anytime we want.
You will need milk (whole, 2%, 1% and nonfat all work), canned pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, pumpkin spice mix, coffee and, if you like a sweeter drink, some sugar.
Just heat everything up, top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of extra pumpkin spice mix and you’re done. Go grab a book, put on some music and find a comfy chair. You will love it!
