Browned Butter and Crispy Sage Chex Mix

Browned butter and crispy sage are a perfect flavor combination for cooling temperatures. Combine those rich, warm flavors with a classic mixture of Chex cereal, mixed nuts, pretzels, and bagel chips, and you have the perfect snack for munching on.

You’ll need: Rice Chex, Wheat Chex, Corn Chex, mixed nuts, mini pretzels, bagel chips, sage, and butter. We’ll also be adding a boost of flavor with a few spices and some Worcestershire sauce.

To start, add butter to a skillet and cook until it starts to foam. Once it’s foaming, stir in some chopped sage and keep cooking until the butter is browned. This whole process only takes about 5 minutes.

Add the rest of your ingredients to the largest mixing bowl you can find.

Pour the butter and sage over the top and give it a stir. You’ll want to microwave this for 6 minutes, stopping every couple of minutes to stir.

Once it’s done cooking, pour it out onto a paper towel lined baking sheet to cool and you’re done!
