You’ve Never Eaten Cereal Like This

What do you get when you combine Lucky Charms, marshmallow fluff and white chocolate? A seriously sweet cereal fudge bar that celebrates the luck o’ the Irish in an on-the-go treat form. Keep this in mind for any day of the year and use your favorite sweet cereal in place of Lucky Charms. Thanks to Paper & Stitch for the inspiration!

What you’ll need:

• 2 cups Lucky Charms
• 5 oz can evaporated milk 
• 8 tbsp (1 stick) unsalted butter
• 3 cups granulated sugar
• 7 oz marshmallow fluff/cream
• 12 oz white chocolate chips

Combine evaporated milk, butter and sugar in a sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Make sure butter is completely melted and mixture comes together like a thick sauce. Be careful not to burn the mixture.

Once mixture is combined, add the white chocolate chips and marshmallow cream to the sauce pan. Combine above ingredients until everything is fully melted.

Now comes the fun part! Add ½ c of Lucky Charms to the sauce pan and mix. (Tip: Feel free to add the Lucky Charms as liberally as you’d like! We added a bit more than just the ½ c and they turned out vibrant and yummy.)

Line a 13x9-inch pan with parchment paper, and pour the entire fudge mixture into the pan, spreading evenly and generously.

Divide leftover ½ c of cereal over the fudge and let cool completely. (Tip: We sprinkled more marshmallows on top to give it a brighter, decorative look. Cooling took a little while, so have patience! It’s much easier to cut into bar pieces after it’s been completely cooled than if it’s still warm.) Cut and enjoy!
