Looking for a quick and easy recipe that the family will love? I’ve got the perfect thing: chicken broccoli and cheese pie pockets! These cheesy little pies are perfect for little ones. They will love the flaky pie pastry and the cheesy goodness inside. These are so good your picky eaters won’t even mind the hidden broccoli.

These pie pockets are super simple to make, just start with some chopped boneless skinless chicken that has been sautéed in a little olive oil, salt and pepper. After removing it from the pan, add a touch more oil, whisk in some flour and cook a few moments before adding the milk. Then, bring milk to a boil before adding the chicken and broccoli. After this sauce has thickened, you remove it from the heat and stir in the cheese.

Then cut out the pie pockets in large circles and fill with the broccoli chicken cheese mixture. Close the piecrust over and seal with a fork. Using a pastry brush, brush whisked egg on top of the pie pockets.

After all the pie pockets are assembled, bake in a 350° oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
