How to Make Tater Tot Hot Dish in a Muffin Tin

Making our new Muffin-Tin Tater Tot Hot Dish Cups is as easy as 1, 2, 3—4 and 5! These adorable cups are bound to be a huge hit with your family. Here’s how to make them.

First, using paper towels, press baked Tater Tots into cups to create a sturdy base for the hot dish.

Then, in a large bowl, mix milk and egg, and stir in cheese before setting aside.

After browning the ground beef in a nonstick skillet and pouring into a bowl, add mushrooms and steak seasoning to the dry skillet and cook until browned (about 6-7 minutes over medium-high heat). Remove from heat and cool for a couple of minutes before adding to the cheese mixture, along with the ground beef.

Now it’s time to assemble the cups! On top of your pre-baked tot base, evenly pour the beef, cheese and mushroom mixture into each muffin cup.

Then top each cup with 6 more Tater Tots and bake 32-34 minutes until the mixture is set and the tots are nicely browned.
