How to Make Bacon Cheddar Monkey Bread

Folks will be declaring you a winner by half-time when you pull out this Bacon Cheddar Monkey Bread at your next game day party.

This recipe combines the great flavors of bacon and cheddar cheese with the fun of bite-sized morsels of pull-apart monkey bread. Seriously, who can resist cheese and bacon? This Bacon Cheddar Monkey Bread was an instant hit at our house and I’m sure it will be at yours too!

To get started, preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray 9x5x3 inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine the Bisquick®, salt, 3 tablespoons of softened butter, egg, milk, crumbled bacon and cheddar cheese. The mixture will be crumbly.


Using your hands, work the mixture until thick dough forms. Roll dough into 1-inch balls; place balls in loaf pan. Drizzle with remaining 3 tablespoons melted butter.


Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve with the Herb Dipping Sauce. To make the dipping sauce, combine the mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
