There’s no need to break out the yeast and to spend hours in the kitchen in order to get that great taste of cinnamon rolls. All you need is a bag of Betty Crocker® Sugar Cookie Mix, a bit of cinnamon, and lots of smooth and creamy icing. Before you know it, you'll have a batch of fresh, swirly Cinnamon Roll Cookies that may just be better than the real thing!
Making these cookies is simple. Just prepare a pouch of Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie mix and roll it onto a lightly floured surface.
Sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon, sugar and butter over the top of the dough.
Roll up the dough into a tight spiral, and then cut it into 1-in. pieces.
Transfer the cookie spirals to a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until the cookies are just barely golden brown around the edges.
Transfer the cookies to a wire cooling rack. Allow them to cool completely before you drizzle icing over them.
Once you’ve iced the cookies, let the frosting harden slightly before serving or storing. Enjoy!
