A delicious recipe for melt-in-your-mouth sugar cookies with a simple and easy frosting.

When my god-daughter was two, she would always request a “cookie with no lumps.” By that, she meant a sugar cookie—perfect to her in its plainness and purity. While I am a huge fan of both chunky chocolate cookies and gooey, filled cookies alike, there truly is something special about a perfectly done sugar cookie.

While sugar cookies can also be perfect and simple all on their own, they are also the perfect canvas for a layer of creamy frosting and a light dusting of sprinkles. These sugar cookies are made easy and flawlessly with the help of Betty Crocker SuperMoist cake mix. I mixed up some easy creamy frosting, spread it on and shared with my family to rave reviews. (Someone even asked if these were purchased at our local bakery! Win for me!)

Try this easy recipe out next time you need a quick-to-mix cookie for a celebration, potluck or bake sale—they really are extraordinary!
