Words cannot describe how excited I am about this recipe. Though it may sound weird at first, take my word: the combination of gooey, baked Brie and sweet, crunchy apple crisp is downright luscious. It’s a perfect new recipe to add to your arsenal for the upcoming holiday season, though honestly, I want to make this all year round. It’s just that good. And so, super easy! Here’s how it’s done.

To start, gather your ingredients. Place a large round of brie in the middle of a greased 10- or 12-inch pie plate. (I used my 10-inch cast iron skillet and that worked wonderfully.)

In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon and pecans.

Add the butter and use your hands to incorporate the softened butter into the dry mixture.

You just want to make sure everything is moist.

Then mix in the chopped apples.

Spread the apple mixture over top of the brie and around the sides, covering it thoroughly.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until the crisp topping is golden brown. Remove from the oven, serve hot with crackers or toasted bread rounds and watch how fast it disappears!
