Ingredients

cup Original Bisquick® mix

cup milk

teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2
cup butter or margarine, melted

cup sugar

can (29 ounces) sliced peach, drained

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • 2 Stir together Bisquick mix, milk and nutmeg in ungreased square baking dish, 8x8x2 inches. Stir in butter until blended. Stir together sugar and peaches; spoon over batter.
  • 3 Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until golden.

I agree with all, too sweet, cut sugar and margerine in half. Also no way that picture is of this peach cobbler. It was good but I like a crunchy top. It turned out more like a peach pudding,I was disappointed..

I skipped the nutmeg because I don't have any and I mixed it my own way because I failed to read the instructions completely before I started. I mixed the sugar in with the Bisquick instead of rolling the peaches in it. And I did not melt the butter, just mixed it with a fork with the mixture. I rinsed off the peaches and added them to the mix, then I sprinkled it with cinnamon. I used a toaster oven and only baked it for 50 minutes instead of 60 and it turned out just fine.

I made this recipe and it was perfect. Instead of the peaches i used cherries. CHERRY COBBLER!!! MMMMmmmm!!!
