These were tasty as well as fun to look at. I basically used the idea with my own ingredients- homemade meat sauce, olives and bell peppers, they turned out pretty nice. Tips-spray the pan well as well as put some sauce down before you put in the wrapper-easier to scoop out. I didn't cook them the full thirty minutes and they were fine, but when you take them out, you have to wait until they firm up so you can scoop them out. Only complaint, they were a little too crispy on the top edges, wish there was some way to get rid of that. They were very small, probably due to the wrappers which are the size of a small glass. Pot sticker wrappers can be found next to the tofu and other items, usually by the vegetables, in the picture though it looks like they used something else as it wraps around and has edges. This was a good idea.

I really liked this idea. I tried this with a real lasagna noodle, meat and cheese, if it cooks for 1/2 an hour in total, I don't understand why it wouldn't work just as well with real ingredients.(there is a store near me that sells a lasagna noodle 12" wide and as long as you need it, I usually buy 5' to 6' long for my regular lasagna, with no boiling) I cut the circles to size like you would cookies. I also made them with a large muffin size tin, for a larger lunch size. I put extra sauce in the bottom and they slipped out just fine. I have a pot pie maker that I will try them in next. I baked some extra cheese and egg mixture in a corningware dish and plopped a spoonful on top kind of like frosting at the end. Everyone loved them,, it made them a little bit creamier. This site has a lot of great ideas that we all tweek to make them our own. I never would have thought of this without this Betty Crocker site thinking it up first.

I tried these for lunch today. They tasted amazing, but I used spring roll wrappers because I couldnt find the wonton wrappers, and Im not even sure if they are the same thing or not. The wrappers got really soggy, and we had to scoop them out with a spoon, but I would have to say that besides that little glitch it was an unquestionable success! Everyone loved them!! Also, to phyllsplace, I am going to try them using puff pastry next time....
