This recipe is too sweet!! Instead, I used oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, 1/2 cup flaked coconut, and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. Then I drizzled the sweetened condensed milk very lightly over the toppings. Everyone loved it!!

I used oatmeal cookie mix with butterscotch chips for the base. they were delicious and soooo easy to prepare! my grandmother used to make these with graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and butter for the bottom layer when I was a kid. she called them 'hello dollies'. they were my favorite holiday cookie! am going to try the chocolate cookie mix next time, YUM!!!
