When the weather outside is so frightful that schools are closed, there's only one thing to do. Turn the day into a party!

Here on the Betty Crocker website, you'll find all sorts of fun crafts and activities that transform a ho-hum snow day into a totally delightful celebration. Here are some ideas:

Create your own Homemade Finger Paints. This ready-in-minutes recipe calls for ingredients you already have in the pantry.

Bake a batch of cookies. Betty Crocker® cookie mix makes the process is a snap! With hundreds of eye-catching recipes available, you're sure to find just the right treat to bake.

Make sweet Strawberry Snow Cream. Send the kids outside to gather up a bowl of the snowy stuff. Then combine it with three other ingredients for a sweet surprise. To create your own snow cream, round up some fresh-fallen snow, heavy cream, sugar and a bit of flavoring.
