I made this with the Heart Smart Bisquick Light and it was delish! I added cranberries to the batter. I swapped in 1/4 cup oatmeal for some of the Bisquick, and used margarine for the streusel. It's our new family favorite. I think the trick is not to over mix the batter; just moisten all ingredients well.

I have used this recipe for many many, years. My family just loves it and can't wait for Sunday mornings to have it. Over the years I have altered the recipe a bit. Sometimes I add cinnamon and vanilla, or nutmeg. I always add extra sugar.
