cup peanut butter

cup granulated sugar

cup packed brown sugar

cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour

teaspoon baking soda
1/2
teaspoon baking powder

cups Total® Raisin Bran cereal
  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, mix butter, peanut butter, sugars and egg until blended. Stir in flour, baking soda and baking powder. Stir in cereal.
  • 2 On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
  • 3 Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet.

Very yummy! A huge hit and filling, too. No one knows they are eating bran. I used egg whites from large eggs and will most likely, next time, use olive oil in place of the butter.

A good cookie that is easy to make. I used splenda for half of the granulated sugar, 2 egg whites for the egg and one cup of oatmeal as I only had 3 cups of raisin bran. Next time I will use 3/4 cup of peanut butter since they need a little more or a peanut taste.
