White Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

These homemade cookies feature white chocolate, oats and raisins - an irresistible dessert.

Ingredients

cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1/2
teaspoon baking soda
1/2
teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4
teaspoon salt
1/2
cup plus 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1/2
cup granulated sugar
1/2
cup packed light brown sugar
1
egg
1
teaspoon orange extract
1
cup old-fashioned oats
8
oz white chocolate baking bars or squares, chopped
1/2
cup raisins or golden raisins

Directions

  • 1 In medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; set aside. In large bowl, beat butter with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar; beat well. Beat in egg and orange extract. Add flour mixture and oats; stir until blended. Stir in white chocolate and raisins. Cover; refrigerate 1 hour.
  • 2 Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheets with cooking parchment paper. Onto cookie sheets, drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls 3 inches apart.
  • 3 Bake 13 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
