1
cup cubed cooked roast beef
1
jar (12 oz) beef gravy
1
bag (12 oz) Green Giant® Valley Fresh Steamers™ frozen mixed vegetables
1/2
teaspoon seasoned salt
1
cup Original Bisquick® mix
3/4
cup milk
  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F. In 3-quart saucepan, heat beef, gravy, frozen vegetables and seasoned salt to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Spread in ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  • 2 In small bowl, stir together Bisquick mix and milk until well blended. Pour evenly over beef mixture.
  • 3 Bake uncovered about 30 minutes or until light brown.

Expert Tips

For Turkey Pot Pie, use 1 cup cubed leftover cooked turkey instead of the roast beef and chicken gravy instead of the beef gravy.

Add extra flavor to the topping by stirring in 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried dill weed or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or onion powder with the Bisquick mix.

We liked the beef pot pie even better than the chicken. It had a zestier taste which we really enjoyed. I made this for the first time several months ago and now we cook beef regularly to make this recipe. It is absolutely terrific and easy.

has become a family favorite. We vary on it depending on availability of ingredients. We make our own gravy using brown gravy mix, add potatos (sometimes - be careful they are fully cooked), and will swap between using bisquick and Pillsbury ready made pie crust. Works for chicken and turkey too. supe easy!
