I love this recipe and so does my very picky husband! I add minced garlic when cooking the beef and onion. So many variations are possible. We eat this at least once a month!

This recipe is delicious. Quick and could not be easier. I add lots more cheese. What Paula Deen is with butter, I am with cheese - you can never have too much cheese! My plan is always to have some for dinner, then breakfast and lunch the next day (if I'm making it for just myself) - it never sees lunch the next day! Try different cheeses, too. Swiss is great in this - the mildness of hamburger keeps it from overpowering the swiss. You can also substitute sausage for the hamburger - an excellent breakfast pie.
