I have made this many times and it's a quick & easy favorite. However, I also like it with a little more flavor. The next time I make it, I'll substitute the ground meat for a pound of loose mild italian sausage and add a bit of italian seasonings. Instead of the cheddar cheese, I'll use provolone and/or mozzarella. BTW, our kids (8 & 10) loved it!!!

have made this for many, many years - always prefer to add a little Tony Chachere's instead of salt. After baking, add sliced fresh or sautee'd jalapeno's and onions, and some fresh sliced tomatoes. Top those with cheese and bake until the cheese is bubbly and turning brown.

Alittle blah for me but, the b/f liked it. I also did not add the onions b/c I'm not a fan of onions.. But over all not too bad.
