Ingredients

  • 1 can (14.5 oz) Muir Glen™ Organic Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes, undrained
  • 6 green onions, thinly sliced, whites and greens separated
  • 1 to 2 jalapeño chiles, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt or kosher salt
  • 4 oz (half of 8-oz package) cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (4 oz)
  • Tortilla chips, as desired

Steps

    In 2-quart saucepan, mix tomatoes, green onion whites, chiles, chili powder, red pepper and salt. Heat to simmering over medium heat.

    Add cheeses and cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until melted and well blended.

    Top with green onion greens; serve with chips.
