Recipe Ingredients

Here’s a look at the ingredients you’ll need for this Impossibly Easy Lemon Pie.

Bisquick™ Baking Mix: Bisquick lends this pie just enough body and structure to come out smooth and custardy with a thin, crisp crust.

Lemons: Fresh lemon juice and zest give this pie its zesty flavor. Use fresh juice and zest for the best lemon flavor.

Granulated Sugar: We need sweet to balance the tart lemon, and sugar does the trick!

Eggs and Milk: Combined with milk, the eggs create a custardy base for this easy pie.

How to Make Impossibly Easy Lemon Pie

Here are our best tips for making this Impossibly Easy Lemon Pie. See the full recipe for the detailed instructions.

1. Prepare the Batter

This batter is simple—everything gets mixed in a blender. It goes so quickly the oven might still be preheating by the time you’re done!

2. Bake

Pour the batter into a prepared pie pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before baking. You’ll want a deep-dish pie pan for this recipe, at least 2 inches tall and 9 inches in diameter. Placing the pie plate on a baking sheet makes it easier to carry to the oven, and it will catch any little spills along the way. The pie plate will be full, so be gentle when placing the pie in the oven.

3. Chill

For the best texture and flavor, this pie needs to cool completely and chill for at least 2 hours before serving. Letting the pie chill allows the custard to set, so you get nice, clean slices.
