Prep Instructions

Tips: Be sure bowl and utensils are clean. Use 1 tablespoon less water in humid weather. Using a stand (not hand) electric mixer will give best results. Make immediately before spreading on cake.  

YOU WILL NEED

1/2 Cup Boiling Water.

1. BEAT frosting mix and 1/2 cup boiling water in small glass or metal bowl on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly. Beat on high speed 5 to 7 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally, until stiff peaks form. 

2. FROST 13x9-inch cake, 8- or 9-inch 2-layer cake,* 10-inch angel food cake or 4 dozen cupcakes. Store cake loosely covered

*To frost 2-layer cake, brush crumbs from cake. Place 1 layer, top side down, on plate. Spread 1/2 cup frosting almost to edge. Place other layer, top side up, on frosted layer. Spread remaining frosting over side and top of cake.
