  • 1 Move oven rack to lowest position. Heat oven to 450°F. Grease cookie sheet or 12-inch pizza pan. In medium bowl, mix Bisquick mix and hot water; beat vigorously 20 strokes.
  • 2 Place dough on surface well dusted with Bisquick mix. Knead about 60 times or until smooth and no longer sticky. Press dough into 13-inch round on cookie sheet. Or press in pizza pan; pinch edge, forming 1/2-inch rim.
  • 3 Mix tomato sauce, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Spread over crust. Top with one of the meat toppings and desired vegetable toppings. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • 4 Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until crust is brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.

Expert Tips

Trim three ingredients down to one by replacing the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning and garlic powder with 1 cup of your favorite purchased pizza sauce.

For quicker preparation, use shredded cheese available in the dairy section of the supermarket.

Kids can make it their way! Let them pick the toppings they like and decide whether to make one big pizza or eight individual ones.

When I first read the recipe I knew I would have to change some things. However, I followed the recipe to the letter and, I have it wasn't the best thing I ever tried but, not the worst. I made the crust again with some onion and garlic powder. I used some BBQ sauce then, topped it with a mix of cheddar and provolone. Used Ground beef, bacon, and some caramelized onions on top. Really Tasty!!!

This crust was the worst - wasted 1-1/2 cups of Bisquick. Won't bother trying this again - I'll just use my old standby.
