Barbecue sauce adds flavor to this delicious pizza made with chicken – ready in 25 minutes.
packages (8 ounces each) Italian bread shells or 6 pita breads (6 inches in diameter)
cup barbecue sauce
cups cut-up cooked chicken
cup shredded smoked or regular Cheddar cheese (3 ounces)
tablespoons chopped red onion
Heat oven to 450º. Place bread shells on ungreased large cookie sheet.
Spread barbecue sauce on bread shells to within 1/4 inch of edges. Top with chicken and cheese. Sprinkle with onion. Bake 7 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Purchased pizza crust, rotisserie chicken and shredded cheese make this one of the easiest pizzas you'll ever make. Add extra zest by sprinkinling the pizza with 6 tablespoons of chopped red onion.
