hard-cooked eggs
1/2
cup finely shredded cheese (2 ounces)

tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

tablespoons mayonnaise, salad dressing or half-and-half

teaspoon prepared horseradish
1/2
teaspoon ground mustard
1/8
teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon pepper
Tiny cooked shrimp, sliced olives or sliced pimiento, if desired
  • 1 Peel eggs; cut lengthwise in half. Slip out yolks and mash with fork. Mix yolks and remaining ingredients except shrimp.
  • 2 Fill egg whites with egg yolk mixture, heaping it lightly. Garnish with shrimp.

I'm sure not a cook...but I need to try around this house... The devil eggs came out great...and now I have a new wife..whom love them!!!!

I tripled this recipe, making (almost) enough for a group of about 20 for Thanksgiving this year. I actually misread the horseradish amount and used tablespoons (only 2) instead of teaspoons. Everyone raved about them, so I guess it was a good mistake!
