Excellent recipe, used only 1/4c butter, used white whole wheat flour, ground pecans coarse with mixer, used two tsp vanilla, used one tsp maple flavoring, used 1/8c white sugar, 1/8c brown sugar, mixed everything together, did not roll batter in extra sugar, did not toast pecans- just ground raw,and added to mix, baking time critical, if cookies are dried out, put in a ziplock bag with a slice of whole wheat bread to soften. Will make again.

I really enjoyed these ! In fact, I think the next time I might increase the amount of the maple flavoring in them. They were really good.

These are very good. Only change I made was to add 1 1/2 tsp real vanilla since I was out of maple flavoring. My husband loved them so we will make them again. Thank you for such easy recipes.
