To cupcakewiz: A cookie exchange is when you get together w/3-5 friends, all of whom have picked a different cookie recipe and have baked 2 dozen (or 1 doz) times 3 (or 4 or 5) cookies to exchange amongst each other. The object is to go home with an assortment of cookies for the holidays. Sometimes a tea or light luncheon is served, sometimes only the prepared dough goes to the hostess' home and you spend time baking the cookies as well. Making a bar cookie will certainly cut down on the time spent baking!
