I made Toll House Cookies for years... my husband and six children loved them. Then, I tried this recipe a few years ago and there was no going back. They are soft and chewy... exactly what a cookie should be. They keep well (if they last that long) and are just as good if frozen. Sometimes, I swap the semi-sweet chips for milk chocolate because that's what my family likes better. I've also used white chips, or a combination, which is fantastic. Awesome cookie recipe!!
