Recipe Ingredients

With a no-roll crust and a creamy, savory filling, this Bisquick® quiche is a simple yet satisfying dish you can make any time of day. Below are the ingredients you'll need for this recipe.

Bisquick™ Original Pancake & Baking Mix: This is the foundation of our recipe, creating a soft, tender crust without the need for rolling—making prep quick and easy.

Butter: Adds richness and helps bring the crust together for that perfectly tender bite.

Boiling Water: This simple addition helps form the dough, making it easy to press into the pie plate.

Canadian Bacon: Brings a savory, slightly smoky flavor that pairs perfectly with the creamy filling.

Shredded Swiss Cheese: Melts beautifully to create a rich, smooth, and slightly nutty flavor throughout the quiche.

Green Onions: Adds a mild, fresh pop of flavor that balances the richness of the cheese and eggs.

Half-and-Half: This is what makes the filling luxuriously creamy and smooth.

Eggs: The backbone of the quiche, giving it that classic custard-like texture and structure.

Salt: Enhances all the flavors and ties everything together.

Ground Red Pepper (Cayenne): Adds just a subtle hint of warmth to round out the flavor.

Other Ingredients You’ll Need: Shortening.

How to Make Easy Cheese and Bacon Quiche

Here are the quick steps to make this savory quiche. You'll find the complete, detailed instructions in the full recipe below!

1. Prep the Pie Plate

Generously grease your 9-inch pie plate with shortening on the bottom and sides; this makes for easy removal of your quiche slices later.

2. Make the Crust

Make and press the dough evenly into the pie plate, forming a neat edge.

3. Create the Filling

Sprinkle bacon, cheese, and onions over the crust. Then create the egg mixture and pour it over the layered ingredients in your crust.

4. Bake

Bake until you see golden-brown edges and a center that appears set with only a slight jiggle. Remove and wait 10 minutes to allow the filling to set up before serving.

How to Store (and Reheat) Easy Cheese and Bacon Quiche

For every slice to be as delightful as the first, proper storage and reheating are key. Follow these simple tips to keep your quiche tasting fresh and delicious, whether you're enjoying it tomorrow or next month.

Refrigerator

Store leftover quiche covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Use an airtight container or wrap tightly with plastic wrap to maintain freshness.

Freezer

For longer storage, freeze quiche by wrapping individual slices tightly in plastic wrap, then foil. Freeze for up to 1 month.

Reheating

Reheat slices in the microwave or in a 350°F oven until warmed through. For best texture, reheat in the oven to help keep the crust from getting soggy.
