sokelenal - I never have real buttermilk in the house but I put one tablespoon of vinegar (or lemon juice) in a one cup measuring cup and then fill it with canned milk. You can use regular milk too but I seldom have that in the house either. I've never been disappointed in the results of my baking.

This was my first attempt at a cream cheese pound cake and I thought it was terrible. It was not sweet enough and tasted like a slightly sweet biscuit! I'm making a cake for someone and I'm glad I tried this recipe before making it for her! Will not use again!

This is the best pound cake i have ever tried.. Some it is quite difficult for me to find buttermilk locally, therefore i replace it with sourcream. The cake taste as good as the one make from buttermilk. One question. How to make this silicone bundt tin become non stick?
