Blogger Arlene Cummings of Cooking With Sugar shares a favorite recipe. These pancakes are a Saturday morning treat in our house. The hot chocolate melting out of the center makes them irresistible.

These are my families’ favorite pancakes. My kid’s friends even request them when they sleep over. The amount of Nutella truly depends on the size of the pancakes you make. If you make big ones use more. If you make little ones use less. It's all a matter of personal preference. The Nutells may seem thick when you place it on top of the batter but once you cover it with a llittle more batter and flip them, the end result will be a warm chocolate center when you eat them. Enjoy!

These pancakes didn't come out like the picture at all.. The batter was too thick, so even doing 1/4c fulls they came out thick and in order to cook them fully, blackened both sides... Also the amount of hazelnut-cocoa spread was not enough, I would suggest warming the spread first before putting in the pancakes. Also possibly adding the warm spread to whipping cream or maybe sour cream, to give it the fluffy/creamy texture it has in the picture.. I'll try experimenting and I'll let you guys know.
