BBQ Mac and Cheese Pizza

No one can resist this tempting combination of mac and cheese, barbecue and pizza! This recipe comes from our Pillsbury Baking Hacks cookbook. If you don't have prepared macaroni and cheese, you can purchase refrigerated, frozen or boxed macaroni and cheese and prepare as directed.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated Pillsbury™ Classic Crust Pizza Crust
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded deli rotisserie chicken (from 2-lb chicken)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 cups prepared macaroni and cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely shredded Cheddar cheese

    Heat oven to 400°F. Lightly spray large cookie sheet with cooking spray. Unroll dough on cookie sheet; press into 15x10-inch rectangle.

    Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown.

    In medium bowl, stir together chicken and 3/4 cup of the barbecue sauce. Spoon over crust to within 1/4-inch from edges. Spoon macaroni and cheese evenly over chicken. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.

    Bake 8 to 12 minutes or until crust is golden brown and macaroni is hot. Drizzle with remaining 1/4 cup barbecue sauce. Cut into 4 rows by 3 rows. Cut each piece diagonally in half.
