I was so glad to discover the old recipe without adding butter to the topping. I stopped buying this product when the recipe changed. I only make the quick bread and it is wonderful. Tastes just like I remember it from a few yeas ago. Thanks for bringing it back.

I use to a box every 3 days for my toddler daughter. It was the only thing she would eat for breakfast. I stopped buying it when you went to the streusel that I had to mix with butter because she didn't like it. I tried your new one and we still don't like it. Please go back to the original recipe from the mid 2000's!

A couple of yrs ago, my 5 kids LOVED your muffins. Then, came the mix change where you added ingredients to make the struesel on the side. Kids didn't like it and we never bought it again. Just found it last night with what we thought was the old recipe...the ready-made struesel is good but not as good as it was before. Plus, the old mix that required milk instead of water is also tastier. Why not revert back to the old recipe that was by far your most delicious?

I can't buy this mix in Ottawa and drive 45 minutes away to pick it up across the border. I'm glad I read these comments as I didn't realize there had been changes in the mix! I distinctly remember adding butter to the delicious streusal but the pkg didn't ask for it. Not only was I confused but disappointed in how dry and bland the baked muffin was - and here I thought it was me! I already add chopped pecans to the mix and topping - if I have to make my own topping and add something to the mix (milk?) - I may as well bake from scratch! If this doesn't go back to the way it was - I won't be buying it again either.

Am no longer using this product and won't until Betty Crocker restores it to its former recipe. I check the box in the store from time to time to see if the streusel topping has been changed back. Hopefully, that will be soon. P.S. Water and milk are NOT the same. I don't think that many calories are saved by using water. How about pretending 2013 was all a dream and revert all your mixes back to what they were in 2012.

Confused - how many time will the cinnamon Strteusel muffin recipe change. Just made a batch -this one used water! If you change the recipe - please mark the box! The topping on this one was apparently the old sprinkle one that I loved but - since I'd grown accustomed to adding butter I blew it. These things are too expensive (good) but expensive to ruin first thing in the morning. What is this - 3 changes in about a year? The first recipe worked.

Yes, I just used this cinnamon streusel muffin mix and your directions are wrong, as soon as I use 1 tbspn of butter in that streusel mix it turns to a paste, every time. I bought this twice thinking that it was a bad batch. But unless you change it back, I will no longer buy this product.

The new recipe is horrible!! I do not understand why you change recipes on successful products. I would pay a little more if necessary for the old product. The streusel doesn't work no matter what we do. It also seems to have less cinnamon in the mix as well. Very disappointed. We won't be buying anymore.

There must be a mistake in the loaf version of the recipe. You are supposed to mix the topping with butter for the muffins, but not for the loaf... Well, when baked, the loaf is topped with a disgusting powder. I think you are supposed to also add butter. Fail!

This new recipe is horrible. These muffins were always so good in the past but the attempt to cut corners on this is awful. My family and I have always loved these muffins until now. I have ruined muffin pan and a mess in my oven. The muffin mix itself also seems to be less than it was before. It is easy to understand that everyone is trying to save money this day and time but to completely sacrifice quality and taste is ridiculous. I will never waste my money on this again unless it is changed back to the original.
