If you like pancakes, you’ll adore this sweet, fluffy version made with blueberries and white chocolate chips.
When my son was a toddler, he discovered pancakes and fell in love. To this day, he is absolutely drawn to pancakes, whether they are on a restaurant menu or whipped up at home. And because he loved them so, my husband and I started looking at ways we could customize them for variety.
Our hands-down favorite version is blueberry-white chocolate pancakes. Made with tart wild blueberries, sweet white chocolate chips and perfect pancake batter, the result is a mouthwatering success.
Of course, getting the pancake technique right was a little challenging, but we have it down now. Here are some tips for making perfect pancakes at home.
- Use nonstick and spray it with cooking oil. You need a surface that will release the pancakes easily.
- Preheat the pan. It’s really important that the pan is well-heated before you put any batter on it. I recommend heating it over medium temperature.
- Use a ladle to drop the batter and only drop about ¼ cup at a time. This will make evenly cooking pancakes that are simple to flip.
Enjoy your pancakes!
