            Number of

            Water or Milk | 
            Butter 
            Softened | 
            Bake Time

            |  6 Cookies | 
             ¾ Cup | 
             1 Tablespoon | 
             1 Tablespoon | 
             14 to 16 | 
        
        
            |  12 Cookies | 
              1¾ Cups | 
              1/4 Cup | 
              2 Tablespoons | 
              15 to 17 | 
        
    
    - Heat oven to 350°F or 325°F for nonstick cookie sheet.
    
 
    - 
    Spoon mix into dry ingredient measuring cup; level with knife.
 
    - 
    Stir Cookie Mix, water and softened butter in medium bowl until dough forms (dough will be stiff). Drop 
 
    - 
    Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    
 
    - Bake as directed in chart or until edges are light golden brown.      
 
    - 
    Cool 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Cool completely, store in airtight
    
 
Helpful Tip from the Betty Crocker Kitchens
If the dough doesn’t come together after you’ve added water or milk, add ½ teaspoon of liquid at a time, stirring between each addition, until a stiff dough forms.
