Expert Tips

Greasing a cookie sheet is easy. Just brush on shortening with a pastry brush or wipe on a small amount with a low-lint paper towel.

Cook the bacon in the microwave for one less pan to wash. Just follow cooking directions on the bacon package.

Snip green onions with a scissors for easy slicing. Go ahead and use all of the white and most of the green portions of each onion.

This is fabulous!! I made this recipe along with cheesy potatoes for dinner and it was one of the best weeknight dinners we have had in a long time! I will definately be making this again soon! It would be a great dinner for having friends or family over..

This was soooo good! I used leftover turkey and fat free ranch dressing instead of the mayo. I also doubled the recipe to make enough to feed the whole family. THEY LOVED IT. I even overheard my husband bragging to his brother on the phone about how good dinner was, which NEVER happens. :) I will definately be making this recipe again!

I'm in love with this dish. I'm 19, and I was determined to prove to my family that I could cook something tasty. It was a big hit, they're already telling me that we need to have it again when we have family over. I think i'll make 2 next time, considering 4 of us ate it all in 20 minutes. Also, I'm not a big fan of green onions, so I subsituted with a regular onion. It was wonderful. Thanks Betty!!!!
