EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Sprinkle decorator sugar crystals over the cobbler dough just before baking.

Instead of the whipped cream, try creamy Yoplait® vanilla or plain yogurt.

This was a fantastic recipe. Best Cherry Cobbler I ever found. HOWEVER, in 2013 Comstock changed the formula for their More Fruit Cherry Pie Filling and the new stuff does not have high fructose corn syrup as someone requested. The recipe is ruined. Cherries turned to mush while baking and it was way too sweet. Maybe someone can find some brand of cherries that stayed looking like cherries and tasted like cherries after baking instead of mush that tastes like sugar. HELP! Thanks, Judy

It sounds like a good recipe, but where do you find pie filling that isn't filled with the chemical fake sugar--high fructose corn syrup?
