EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

There’s so much flavor in these moist, tender biscuits that you won’t need a high-fat spread. They taste heavenly even without butter or margarine.

For soft biscuits, place the dough close together on the baking sheet. If you like your biscuits crusty, be sure to space dough about 1 inch apart.

To measure Bisquick mix, spoon it into a dry-ingredient measuring cup, then level the top with a metal spatula.

Kathy, it is definitely the pre-made onion dip you buy at a grocer's. It contains sour cream and, of course, the onion flavoring. Please note that most any pre-made dip can be used in this recipe, depending on what flavor you enjoy. Avocado will not work so well, however, and the green coloring might be off-putting.

They're delicious. Easy, quick and again, delicious. I made them on the smaller side and cut back on the heat (400). Also,I put the batter on tin foil for quicker clean up. Great recipe. Will do again and again and.....
